Hello all you reptile enthusiasts,

Just letting everyone know that these enclosures don’t have any wiring at all as we by law can not install them as we have got a electricians licence.

We can sell all heaters and lights if requested uninstalled. Just let us know and we can get a total price on complete enclosures.

We are also willing to do any trades with reptiles for enclosures, If you just let us know what species you have and how many enclosures you require we can make an arrangement.

thanks for the interest. Yes you can paint the outside or inside as it's Melamine and it won't take many coats as Melamine is sealed apart from the cut edges.

A couple questions:
- What is the back made of?
- How are the vents kept in place once installed? (do you fix them in place or does the purchaser)

Hi Rob,

the backs are 16mm thick Melamine as the rest of the unit. The vents in picture are not the one's we are acually using. They have 2x 150mm * 75mmn screw in vents positioned either in the middle or at the top of the enclosure or where you require.

If you need any more information just let us know. I'll also post another pic of the vents we use tomorrow if I get the chance.

There are paint products for melamine. I have not used them so cannot attest to their virtues if there are any.

Hi there,

in regards to recent questions about painting Melamine enclosures, we have used spray guns & cans to paint these enclosures with in the past. They do require a couple of coats but the paint has stuck ok and the finished look is good. We can get any colour in Melamine but the cost does go up and this also means that your inside of the enclosure will be the same colour as you choose blue, cream etc.
