how do you know when your pythons are gravid? my diamond just laid 11 eggs, most of witch have gorn bad. i never new she was gravid so didn't providew a nesting box. in the month or to before dropping she refused to eat. is this a normal thing for most snakes before laying? i have a pair of murrays that seem to be displaying the same behaviour but also some spotteds that eat every time. appart from weighing them regularly is there any definate ways of telling? i've seen no sign of belly basking and if they have gained weight i can't really tell.
