| whether or not you can get it out of it's hide probably depends on the individual snake, I have adults who don't seem to mind but hatchies and juv's probably get a bit more defensive.
for my hides I use exo terra ones, and frozen dinner bowls which I cover in the substrate (aspen shavings) so it blends in with the rest of the tank theme or cardboard boxes covered with pebbles for same purpose. |
