i think micro climate ministat 100 or 300 thermostats are reliable and very acurate i got my ministat 300 for $95.00 at Petstock. herp shop also stock micro climate and habistat. i use a non contact thermometer [point and shoot for reading surface, air or body temp and find my dragons will sit in a 40 degree hotspot then move to the cool end at 27 degrees then back again keeping body temp around 32 degrees.
