hey..i bought a childrens python at 7 mths old..was a little bit fussy eater according to his card....he didnt eat for 6 weeks then ate pinkie rats for 3 weeks and now hasnt eaten again for 6 weeks....doesnt seem interested at all...have checked all temps and they fine and covered the walls of the tank and he doesnt seemed stressed at all....actually climbs up the water bowl and drinks when filling up bowl......have a friend with same age snake and is almost double the size......was wondering if anyone has any ideas and also how long is it unsafe for him not to eat and have to take him somewhere ? any help would be much appreciated....
