I agree with Chris-Cool,
Each snake has there own individual temperment regardless of the type.
I have a
jungle which everyone says are really snappy but my girl is the best handler. She has never bitten or attempted to bite and I can reach stright into her enclosure without fear of getting bitten, which is great as she is getting pretty big now. I also recently got a
Bredli which is also tame as, so yeah it definately depends on their individual personality. It might help to purchase an older snake which is already tame, friendly and good with children.
