crushed walnut shells almost killed both my girls, one was managing to squeeze out about 5 or 6 miniscule poos a day with alot of effort, the other mustve been getting shredded internally cos she would leave her vent hanging open for about 20-30 miins after pooing.
use washed play sand from bunnings if you want a loose substrate, its cheaper and clumps better for cleaning up poos,...crushed walnut is dangerous!!! (and not digestable like it said on the packet)
