well this one was drowning in the paddock (which was waist deep in water at the time) and i saw the ripples and had already caught 3 black bellied swamp snakes, and about 50 grass skinks and other varies skinks that looked the same as grass skinks, i saw the ripples and ran out through the water and caught it, the flooding didnt go down for about a week so i kept it till the paddock was habitable (the kookaburah were having a field day) but even when i let it go it still was reluctant to run away, it stayed near my feet where i placed it till i put it in the long grass for shelter, then it slowly scurried away
