I have a Jungle, roughly 1.5 years old and just over 1.2 meters long.
While feeding he insists on eating the mouse rump first. Ive read and heard that doing this could pay a hefty price... resulting in choking to death.
Firstly is this true and should I bee concerned??
Secondly. I just gave him a large mous and it took nearly 40 minutes to get it down, where as the last 5 he managed to scuff it down..again, rump first. The other 35 he occupied be smelling and looking for someware to start eating... the rump... always, he didnt even find the head.
I even took the mouse from him once to give it back again... same story.
Is my snake suicidal or just stupid?? ; )
