For the same inclosure size, I use a 40 or 60 watt spot light - phillips spotone.
Each enclosure has a shelf approx. 500mm [ 1/2 metre ] below the down light.
The basking spot temp. is 32 deg.
Its on between 6.30am - 11am - thats it. [ Unless its feeding time, then they all get an extra few hours or so late in the afternoon for the first couple of days after a feed. ]
No night time heat is ever given.
Being a 12 month old Snake, you may need some heating at night depending where you
actually live.
