it"s better to keep young pythons in quite small tanks ( cages, enclosures). they feel more secure, & they don't stress out as much, as they do if kept in too large of a tank. minium tank size for adult pythons ,( which they feel happy in ) is 1/2 the length of the python = length of tank 1/4 length of the python = width & height of tank. eg. an 8 foot python, the tank size would measure 4 foot long, 2 foot wide, & 2 foot high. if your python likes to climb, then you can increase the height if you want to . remember this is the minium size for an adult python,i hope this has help you a bit deano.
