A diamond python,,, which are arboreal pyhtons would be better to have a cage that was taller rather than longer ....
But it is common for smaller snakes to be kept in smaller cages / tubs until they get to around adult size ....
But i have my yearling diamonds in 1200x800x600 cages and they are fine .....
