Join the Frog and Tadpole Study Group, they meet at homebush on the 4th? Friday of the month, they sell cheap homeless frogs at the meeting. Go with the Common Green tree frog, easy to look after due to their variable tolerances to temps and humidity. Rainforest Sp's can be a bit tricky, keeping the temps low and the humidity high, Northern Sp's will need higher temps. Common GTF's only need a warm room (around 25), as they are naturally found in Sydney. I have never bothered with UV and havn't had any problems keeping and breeding frogs. GTF's live for a very long time, I had one that I caught as an adult when I was a kid, it died a few year ago, I had it for 17 years. Breeding frogs is a whole different ball game, depending on the Sp's can be hard, costly, and time consuming.
