There are some heat mats that will only get to 32-34 degrees and will stay there on their own.. and with heat cord the wattage has a role to play in the heat emmitted.. people assume they need to heat the whole cage so i had better buy a 100w globe and a 60w mat.. not the case.. mt
jungle lives in her 1m by 500mm by 500mm enclosure with a 15w heat cord.. and it is all perfect..
