im looking at getting a snake soon. i was thinking the opposite of the norm. i want a snake thats going to get big.

the only problem is i live in WA. and there is a limited number of available breeds (full list i dont know) and i would love a carpet python over a stimsons. but at the petstores they run for around 1000 while stimsons closer to 300.

what should i do. do private breeders sell them for more reasonable prices.? or should i just get a stimsons.
