My childrens python is still not eating - it has been 3 weeks now . I have raised the hot end temp to 33 deg . She is still quite active and drinking (and even did a tour of the house 3 days ago the little scamp) .The smallest pinkies I can get are thawed and waved then dropped in her container and left for about 16 hours . Have tried heating them (using the clip bag method as suggested - thanks ) but she doesnt seem interested. She still poos about every 2 days I think and hasnt really skinnied up - thin neck and her bodys about 1 and 1/2 times thicker than her neck - looks normal to me.
should I be pricking the pinkies to let out some blood , rub some feathers on them , cut the pinkies up , offer her some chicken strips , pray to the voodoo gods.
Will she follow the biological imperitive for survival and eat eventually - Im sure this is probably quite common and Im just a bit paranoid...
