I would never buy from a petshop again.
Not sure if the reptiles are better off, but the dogs that are supplied to most petshops are from Puppy Farms, or Backyard Breeders & live in appalling conditions.
The staff at most pet shops have no idea on the proper care for the animals, they give out ithe wrong info on the animals (when I got a guinea pig years back they advised me to feed it oranges & carrots as the main diet
).
PP is the worst place, they should be closed down.
I wont buy from any petstore that sells live animals (as pets).
