We try to find different pet shops most weekends and most of the childrens pythons or spotted pythons average about $350 with some up around the $400-$500 mark. We got ours from lifestyle pets in lawnton (brisbane) and we got her for $250 or $300 icluding her tank and accessories heating matt and water bowl which we think is a pretty good price i think idealistically you want to look for a breeder but if you are looking at pet shops your best bet is to look into different shops and how they keep their reptiles (some shops dont have a reptile specialist, and you want to stay away from them, because they cant offer you much information, except basic knowledge? also, look at the dates on their feeding! Some pet shops we notices only fed their hatchlings once every 3-4 weeks! Stay away!! LOL
