| Both my Male & Female Stimsoni are doing exactly the same thing. They are very active at night, but not the least bit interested in food. As soon as you open the door to the enclosure they will actually climb over the rat to get out.
They did the same thing this time last year, and when I put them together they were going at it afer a few minutes, although nothing came of it.
So yes he is probably feeling frisky.
