hey richard yea the southwest tristis are nice and big (as far as tristis go) and they are jet black when older the animal in the earlyer pic was of a young male heres a pic of an adult female, this female is my pride and joy at the moment she is remarkably calm for a tristis (they have a tendency to be skittish) and we seem to have come to an understanding where she will ignore my presence when i clean her cage and do her water plus i hand feed her
