I go to my local dirt supplier...garden supplier..............i get sand that is sand pitsafe that they supply schools with & they also sell wood for burning...you get great pieces for a fraction of the cost.........
wouldnt cost me more than $30 a year & i go every 3 mnths to get new sand & wood for all the tanks i do.
They even keep hollow logs & ones that look like caves for me...every now & then i bring in a reptile to show them who its for..........they say that the amount i get would blow away in a day!
Cheaper than fake stuff,better for reptiles & better for the hip pocket!
Thanks for that tip, I'm always on the lookout for hollow logs etc, and never though of going to a garden supplier
