BHPs aren't cheap. Diamonds have other issues tht means some people won't often recommended them to new keepers. I eventually decided on a Murray darling (or Vic depending who you talk to) carpet python due to the reputation of being a very placid python (though they all have their own personalities), colouring size and price. MDs are considerably cheaper than BHPs and cheaper than diamonds as a rule.
