Cougars... sounds a bit sus that you can still smell it after 2 weeks.

Best bet is to search the product you used. Find out if it is no or low in VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) Usually if you can smell it after a week its generally high in VOC.
Put your head in the enclosure if you feel dizzy (you may like it) snakey wont last long.

Sorry but no matter how much bleaching or cleaners you use you will never get rid of the VOC.(harmful chemicals)

Im no chemist but I use products like these everyday and its scary how these chemicals can get into your blood and bones even.

Someone might have a better solution but if it was me and your product is high in voc I would sand it back and do it again with a no or low voc product even then i would give it a month to really air out.
