Sengir, yes I agree, UV does appear to enhance the colours of certain species and have heard similar things about Bredli. In a display cage in a living area a UV light could certainly make the snakes more attractive to look at.
ok one last newbie question

do you expose a snake to UV then when he sheds he looks better
or do you breed them with more uv exposer and the babies have better colours?
i realise it's a lot of speculation so i will accept speculative answers
