For water dishes, cage furniture and other instruments I soak for 20 - 30 minutes then rinse. For sealed timber enclosures you can either spray and wipe or, as I do, spray lightly and allow to dry. It will dry much faster than 20 minutes. It is not even necessary to remove the animal if you don't need to. For glass enclosures I add the F10 then fill up with water and leave to soak for 20 - 30 minutes then rinse out with the hose.
