Your right fred but jozz said in her post she would keep an eye on it.
Birdnetting does the most damage when a snake is stuck in it for extended periods.
I have never had a problem removing snakes from birdnet and we get heaps here on the peninsula..
When left in the net over for extended period the snake can cause some amazing damage..Here is a pic of a tiger that had to be euthanised as the wound was already septic.
Evil stuff when used improperly..
Also i have found birdnet snakes and canned snakes that seem to lay still while you remove the net (or can)..
i think they know they being released and usually dont fret unless you hurt them..Like pull on the bird net which is cutting into them..
