its basically up to the keeper. some people believe most pythons can function perfectly fine and develop healthily without any UV, other people reccomend you do use them.

i think ive got the same light in my enclosure and I do use it just cos i was sold it when i bought my enclosure, but its up to you. i havent made my mind up yet but i figure why not, if you've got the globe then use it. i think with the exception of diamonds who do ned UVB, most all pythons will do fine without. im still a beginer though so shop around! haha
