childrens not eating

howdy all,

I have a year old male childrens python and as of about 2 months ago he has just gone off his food completey, not interested one bit. I have spoken to afew experienced people and they say not too worry and its juts hormones kcking in. He has only lost 1g since not eating so i am not really too worried but just looking for advice. Should I try a different food item? previoulsy eating wenaer mice...was never a "big" snake for his age....or just leave it for a while and try later in the year? he does seem a lot more active and prowling his cage and whenever i get him out he is off exploring and tasting everything around him, whereas he used to much more laid back and placid, so i think he may just be looking for a lady friend!

Any advice woudl be good, either for things to try or at least to ease my nerves!
Cheers,
Dave
