I think this is prob a bad place to discuss this in some ways simply because ppl here are going to say screw your wife keep the snake (I know not all but most of us are often rooting for the snake)

When you married your wife you agreed to take her and her thoughts and opinions into consideration.
having an argument over keeping pythons is very different to arguing over keeping elapids. I think you need to sit down with your wife and include a list of pros and cons over keeping the snake and discuss ways to reduce risks. The fact that she has let you keep them in the hopuse already says a lot about her and her love for you I think. I can see arguments for both sides and i dont want to influence you either way i am just encoraging you and others on here to consider the other halfs side of the argument.
