We loosely base our prices on the current market, the appearance of the individual animals, obvious quality etc. At the end of the day though, we price to match what we'd pay. Years ago the animal on the right would go for around $1000, these days we sell such standard QLD BHPs for around $700. Some sell appearingly "prettier" animals for $500. It’s not just the animal’s external look you are buying.......Guaranteed feeder, disease free, traceable lineage, top problem free bloodline, that's what we pay for when purchasing animals from other breeders......

The animal on the left may go for around $1200 in the current market. Others may pay or sell for more or less. That's the price we'd pay so that's the going rate.....

Please don't think we are blowing our own horn here. My opinion is mean't to be taken as advice to new keepers. If you are looking into purchasing a new pet, do a background check on the seller. Whether you choose an animal bred by someone who pairs 2 animals or 20, quality is the key.
