Like the way u think AlexC, It wouldnt be that had to do both to an enclosure or much more expensive as long as you were handy with wood etc.

It's pretty easy to use both, but it's more hassle than it's worth, at least according to my preferences. My top opening ones have removable fronts, the glass can be pulled up and out, although you can't open the front without opening the lid.
