"power feeding" animals to adult size (ect a darwin to 5ft in its 1st year so it can breed by its second year) is known to produce problems a large breeder whome i bought several pythons from in brisbane told me this info and was confident that powerfeeding does produce problems and eggbinding as he owned 100's of snakes and has kept, bred, grown offspring and bred them again over afew generations i belive what he says is true and he admits that his a small number of his origional pythons ended up dieing from eggbinding (gradually had eggbinding problems every year till they proved fatal)
