was thinking a coastal carpet but i wouldnt have a clue. if someone could point me in the right direction that would be sweeeeeeett also what dimensions would its cage be and what would i need for it eg heating...
also would it be alright to purchase a male and female hatchy from different people (to keep bloodlines mixed)?

also would it be easier if i bought some live mice and chucked them in a tank and let em breed so i could feed the mice live to the snake to give a more natural feeling.

cheers gurds

loads of info on this, most people suggest the childrens (spotteds, childrens, stimis) because there small and hardy.
you can mix bloodlines but if your buying something like a stimi, i would want to keep the locality pure so it would be easier imo to just buy from the one person.

feeding live is ilegal in some states, and its cruel to the mice, it is also potentialy harmful to the snake (scratchs etc)

im only new to the game aswell, I only keep a stimi and a bhp so cant comment on coastals or anything like that, but both my snakes have been great the bhp is the most active and best to handle by far hes got such a nice nature..
the stimi is a bit narky but is settling down alot
