Diamonds won't like the humid conditions - excessive heat and humidity are known to be most common causes of Diamond Python Syndrome. You might get away with keeping the diamonds if you can create an air conditioned room for them to keep the heat down. They like their temps between 18-26 and low humidity.

The Cairns coastal pythons are quite a nice looking snake, the jungles would probably like it since they are up that way somewhere. You'll also find scrub pythons and green tree pythons live wild up that way too - GTPs perhaps a little further up. But I have seen pics of the coastals that are up that far and I quite like them.

Darwins might do well also.
