Both great snakes to start with. I started with a spotted called Princess. Her enclosure temps are as follows Hot end substrate temp 27 to 30 c. Cold end substrate temp 24 to 26 c. in middle of enclosure air temp between 26 and 31 c. I have 2 heat globes which are 60 watt purple night lites, using a heat mat is fine at one end, measure the substrate temp(floor temp) at the hot end and dont let it get over say 32 c or below say 26 c. this should allow a fair gradient for a small click clack container to start with. My advice would be find a reputable breeder and ask lots of Questions.Good luck
