OK, you know now. There is nothing wrong with buying live mice for your snake, so long as you don't feed it to your snake alive - at least not from a moral or legal standpoint. You must however ensure you kill the mouse before feeding it to the snake. A freshly killed mouse would almost certainly be as appertising to your snake as a live mouse. There are many ways to kill a mouse humanely - do some research on this site and I'm sure you'll find the most suitable method for you.

Once you get your snake feeding on freshly killed mice, you might be able to coax him into eating freshly defrosted.

BTW, the mouse looks small enough for a snake the size of yours.

Sorry i asked didn't know in nature all snake food is pre-killed for them.
