Always surprised by the number of people that who have the need to defrost rats in a plastic bag.
My snakes might be different but they don't give a rats if their food is wet or dry.

I just tip the frozen rats into a bucket of hot water, wait about 30 minutes and then down the hatch.
The water held in the rats hair can only be good for the snakes and being wet it would make it easier for them to swallow.
