um as far as when i have the lamp switched off should i buy a heat rock to put at the bottom of the tank im just curious will he use it or should i try somthing simliar but sumthing i can put up higher or can i box the rock in so its a warm hidy hole.

plus a heat rock can burn your snake and yes you should have a night and a day light like normal heat light and a blue one for the night they need to have constant heat for them to eat
