Hi TheBoga, Im definately no expert either but I was wondering, what is the air temp down the hot end? Not directly under the heat lamp, but the actual air - it should be 6 degrees warmer than the cool end.
One of my beardies sleeps quite a bit at the moment too - he will sleep anywhere anytime, I can 'pat' him and he doesnt wake up, but he will wake up if I pick him up
Hopefully some other people will be able to come up with some ideas for you. Maybe his perch is just waaaaay too comfortable
