IMO the 5k mark is pretty good for GTP's you can disagree with me if you want but I remember a few years ago they used to be up in the 12k mark for one, 5k is not bad considering. I'd love to have some one day and breed them, but I'd love the albino olive and a pair a rouphy's too. I think there more appealing for there price tag and I think these snakes can be much more appreciated because you've wprked exstremely hard in getting them in the first place. also because there stunning and so sooo much more beutiful then the cheaper pythons. The cheaper ones are still gorgouse but to actually complete a exsperianced collectors collection they would do just that. there will always be people that will pay such a high price for these snakes, because they've always drempt about owning them. and because they have a goal in owning them.
I don't see the GTP's coming down in price much more seeing 5k is less then halk they where about 2 years ago, maybe the albino carpets will seeing everyone is buying them and breeding them now, and RSP's well they where quite pricey but so was the GTP's not so long ago simply because they where new and there wasn't many in captivity.
