i had the exact same problem, when i was researching, i didnt want to get a huge snake, because i have dogs and it could eat them, so i went for the smallest snake i could find, which just so happens to be a stimsons python, they oly grow up to a mtr and most have great temprements, its also a good begginer snake, if you have any questions be free to pm or ask
