I have my 6mth old Stimmie in an old fish tank we've converted into a snake habitat. I was worried about usung glass at first, but thats what the shop we bought him from uses and al there reptiles are fine. It is quite big compared to hime but he has plenty of places to hide and he loves exploring at dark time. I think my tank is about 3ft by 1.5ft and then about 2ft tall...I dont have a measuring tape handy so thats just by looking at it...

As for glass not keeping the heat, could you use something to insulate? Like alfoil on the side or something else???
