Arrow close encounter

I just came home today after a school camp in the bush of Hornsby (out far away from anyone) and i also had a scary enocounter with an eastern brown. Me and my 3 mates were walking and i was in the front and my mate shouts out SNAKE!! now at first i thought he was pulling my leg cause he knows i like snakes but then i realized about 10cm away from my foot was a 1m+ eastern brown.. lol at first i was scared cause it was a good 25-30 degree day and it would of been active but it didnt move and while i was standing there dead still askin my mate to throw me a stick so i can move the snake away i noticed the snake just moving away... After about 20 seconds the snake was gone into the bush with no hassel at all..

I thought i might tell that story especially for those people that think Eastern Browns are aggressive and will chase you (which no one can actually say happened to them).. I was 10cm (maybe less) away from it and it didnt even move other than trying to get away..
