waterdragons dont really like being held,there not calm and relaxing like a bearded dragon or bluey,and adults can be very difficult to restrain during handling,there very strong and easily scrath the bejesus out of you,lol,u have to hold on pretty good and expect to cop it at times,of course some do mellow,but yeah i wouldnt be expecting to be holding them,there not a pet u get for its handling qualitys,there great lizards,i keep easterns and gippys,whilst there quite manageable to hold when young,try it with up to 3 foot of thrashing adult male,they wont sit on u like a beardy,there great to keep still,one of my favourite types of reptile,u can tweezer feed them with out having to pick them up though,oh and there is the exception,im sure the odd watery will allow it handling wise,,just not the norm
