I heat and feed mine all year round, I just vary the amount of daylight heating hours they get, some dragons will brumate from March to August, some will brumate on and off (eating small amounts now and then), some will eat like pigs all winter......but all will breed come August. Desert reptiles should have some heating on offer during winter, even if it's just for a couple of hours a day.
