There is enough ventilation between gaps in the glass sliding doors for circulation. I find the humidity to be better also. The encloures are opened weekly for feeding & cleaning so the air is not stale as some writings suggest it would be. And the temps are more stable & of course are cheaper to operate. Perfect conditions (for the species I keep anyway)
For arid species though, like monitors for eg: need a dryer climate, so I would use pegboard backs for these species.
