I aquired a frame that would make a good dual cage for either the stimmies or childreni.
I've always used universal rock backing previously so thought i would give make a backing a go to see the difference. For a 1st attempt i think i've done alright using a general frame, foam, expander foam, sanding, grouting, sealing and painting and sealing again. Though cheaper for smaller applications i think i would stick the the universal or similar for larger project from a time and effort point of view. But i'll be the first to admitt i'm not a gifted artist with ablilities
I'll start it off with a series of pics for the different stages, i also tried a different heating method compared to the rest of my cages. Some different options for you folks.
