Some people worm their snakes regularly. I think this is usually orally but not sure.
If you are worried, My opinion is that is better to get them checked (fecal float I believe) and then if they are infested, treat them rather than treating a healthy snake. But that is only an opinion, many people do have a regular worming schedule.
