I used to have 10 clear plastic tubes of 10mm-60mm diameter that I used as restraining tubes to hold the head of the snake while I probed it.I also used these to measure my snakes by marking the outside of the tube with a texta then measuring it.Id simply place the snake in a bucket of water and hold the tube above the snakes head.It would then crawl inside the tube to escape the water (this is when I probed or measured).However the lengths I had were only 3 foot in length so anything over that size was measured against a wall.
