my opinion....lol
noone is pretty well right as far as locality goes.. blondes are in the vercenity of cooktown... how ever cooktowns not really classed as the cape and neither is port douglas.
north of cooktown the macs are lighter than normal in colour with some having a caremel hue. one from the blonds are very light some being almost cream/white in base colour.
one south from there eg port douglas south to carirns and beyond get daker as they get further south with some of our local animals having a pattern that is almost a purple colour om a light brownish base colour.(also very pretty).
